Fabric Printing with Miranda Earle

I have just completed a weekend workshop of Fabric Printing at Miranda Earle's studio. It was fabulous fun made all the more enjoyable in the company of some mates: Nic. Trish and Tony. Miranda taught us how to use square and triangle lino blocks to produce repeatable designs. Her own work is distinctive and quite beautiful. I'll let the photos tell the rest of the story.
Inspiration for my design.

My initial sketch.

Design transferred onto lino block and the carving process begins.

Nic and Trish in action.

My design printed - Here I chose to print in sections ready for a bag.

Trish's delicate and gorgeous poppies.

Nic's fantastic fish!

Tony's Japanese inspired design - a striking and effective overall print.

Great work - thanks Miranda!!!
