Like Mother Like ....

After winning at Netball on Saturday morning ..... my little sweet pea (age 12) set about on a sewing project .....

She made this great drawstring bag (Tried and True!) in purple stretch denim ...
It was a tricky little design to applique.... she did a great job!

I only helped with the curly tails .... she did ALL the rest ...


I'm as proud as punch - and sew was Grandma!

    I'm so impressed... even I sometimes lack the patience/coordination to make appliques this good. Congratulations! Oh, and I just saw your coat; it's gorgeous! I hadn't even known about corded buttonholes - must remember that if I ever make a coat (and maybe ask you about a tutorial then!).
