Plain and simple straight skirt from a pattern drafted for me at Studio Faro in Sydney in 2005.
We've had a wet and grey quite miserable day here today, so it was lovely to have a glimmer of sunshine just as I finished this project - down to Pelican Marina for a location shoot.
Hope you had a great weekend!
Hey, what a groovy skirt. The floral design is very striking. Looks all very funky paired with the black top and boots. Might have to give collaging on picnik a go. Looks very effective. Hmmmm, I'm endlessly frustrated by the limitations of blogger.
ReplyDeleteOh, stunning skirt. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely skirt! I love the fabric and colors, and I would love one exactly like that for fall!
ReplyDeleteVery very nice indeed. The fabric is perfect for a skirt. This is not the rose panels that I bought. Mine is black and grey jersey that I must get around to making up soon.
ReplyDeleteLovely skirt, perfect cooler weather attire! I will have to look into this picnik thing too - getting rather bored with the blogger photo limitations...
ReplyDeleteWow...that is and awesome skirt and it looks fab only you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great use of that fabric! And, a pattern drafted just for you - that sounds wonderful. Happy sewing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic statement piece to have in your wardrobe!
